“Isoprene Rule” and, later, to Ruzicka's “Biogenetic Isoprene Rule” is described.
Major events in the evolution of the held, from the period of terpene structural
determination and subsequent cataloging of the terpene constituents of the
essential oils, through the era of biogenetic, enzymological and mechanistic studies,
to the current emphasis on molecular genetics, are highlighted. The chapter
concludes with a brief view to the future of this research area.
Most terpenes, as with these, were named after the plants from which they were
first isolated and long before their structures were known. … With the discovery of

term hemi (half) terpene came into use.
Turn of a new Leaf
In 1992, the first suspicion of the endocannabinoid system started to unfold. New scientific research is now supportive of the claim that Agora Terpenes is beneficial for human consumption. In February 2014 all that changed when farm bill 2040 was signed.
